seeing double.

There are currently 5 days of April remaining but I never want it to end! I have loved this month SO much! But, before it leaves us for another year, I wanted to share the rest of the photos and the other two outfits from mine and Elexis's "friendship shoot"!

Still, this is my favourite thing that happened this entire month and I am looking forward to doing more (maybe even some for other people?!? - Hi, I take photos!). It was such a fun and hilarious experience - and a pretty exhausting one to photograph myself (but totally worth it!). I felt like I was back in middle school with one of my best friends, acting goofy and trying to match. Those were the days!

Shoot me a message if you are wanting a friendship shoot of your own -  I am looking at you 2018 grads!

Tank tops and Mom jeans: American Eagle.

Floral Jumpsuit: American Eagle (are you noticing a trend?)

frink center - belleville, ontario.

Earth Day is one of my favourite days because, I mean, I love this Earth! Who doesn't?!

This Earth Day was a spectacular one with loads of sun, a bit of heat, and one of my best gals and fellow blogger, Jenn (writer and creator of Posted Discoveries - you NEED to check it out!)! She got me out to a spot that is quite close to me but one that I have not yet been to, the Frink Center. The ground is still muddy, and the ice is slowly melting causing for some messy trekking, but it made for a great adventure.

This spot is perfect for the avid bird watcher - or maybe you are like me and you find birds to be quite entertaining. It's also a beautiful spot for photos, to relax, and spend a sunny afternoon with friends (human and furry)!

I am so lucky to have adventurous friends who get out more than me, haha! Make sure to check out Jenn's blog to learn more about other local destinations and the many cool spots that she has been all over!

27 - i'm in heaven.

Rhyming is also my jam.

I just wanted to pop on here quickly and thank EVERYONE who made my 27th birthday the best one yet! I have never felt more loved and appreciated by friends than I did this past week. Making friends as an adult has been a journey, but I have finally found the perfect group of friends who are extremely selfless and there for you when you need help.

I love you all so much (people reading, family,  and my amazing, beautiful, strong, hilarious friends)!

And special thank you to Elexis for the most beautiful cake that I have even been given! :D

i get by with a little help from my friends.

Yay! Another lyric title!

But seriously, I LOVE my friends. And I cannot thank them all enough for everything that they do for me, big and small. There are two specific ladies that I want to quickly shout out.

Jenn, a fellow Nova Scotia woman and introvert - she is my rock. She has been such an incredible listener to my ramblings and concerns as well as an inspiration. She has overcome some not-so-easy obstacles that I, too, have trouble with. And now, she is has started a FANTASTIC (and I mean it!) blog about her discoveries in the area which we have both been posted to. If you are curious as to where we live, what there is to and see (and drink), then you need to go check out her blog, Posted Discoveries (what an awesome name, eh?!) and Instagram. She is amazing and I am so thankful to have her as a friend and my go-to horror movie goer!

Haha! I need more photos of this beauty - but it truly sums up her amazing personality!

Elexis, the gal who started dragging me out of my house and on adventures. And for that, I am so thankful! If it wasn't for Elexis, I would not have seen and been to so many beautiful spots in and around the Bay of Quinte and other parts of Southern Ontario. She has also helped me get my camera out more and inspired me to be more creative. She herself is the queen of DIY and makes the most beautiful blankets, home decor, and clothing (coming soon!). If you are in the market for something made with love and a little bit of sunshine, you should check out her Facebook Page - Something About Sunshine Co. - and her Instagram

(Elexis is probably the most free-spirited person I know and I think this photo mirrors that!)

I am so lucky to have these women and the few other's that I know (I don't know that many women that well) in my life. This posting has been hard, and I get homesick quite often, but these women are the silver-lining to being here.

Mushy post over.

But like, I love my friends and I love having friends - so yeah!

Who pushes you to be better?

little bluff with little fluffs.

I love my friends.

I have always been somewhat of a hermit. Or someone who only likes to spend time with one friend. People can be a little overwhelming for me.

Moving to Ontario has been a huge change both geographically and socially for me. It is scary to break out of your shell and it's not always an easy task. I used to get extremely anxious doing anything with a group of people. But we have been so fortunate to meet some of the most generous, funny, and caring people ever! The old Charlotte would probably have passed on a "girl's day" because she liked to use her husband as a security blanket and would never want to do anything without him. But a girl's day is just what I needed!

I have so much love and respect for the women. They are amazing beings with a great sense of humour and are always up for an adventure.

And the fact that they all love dogs and (will very soon) all own dogs makes them even more amazing! :D
