They are intimate, relaxed, and there are always a lot of laughs. And what could make a session any better?
Some wine and the cutest puppy ever!!
Really though, I have been incredibly lucky with the "clients" I have had. They are always fun, down-to-earth, relaxed, and goofy (especially Sheila and Chris)! Very much my cup of tea.
Sheila and Chris may be the cutest couple I have met - second to Mark and I, obviously (just kidding)! They were cracking jokes left and right, giving me major PDA - which people in love should be doing (if they want)! - and really knew how to make each other smile. They go together like cheese and pepperoni on a pizza!
So, enjoy looking at their love and their adorable puppy, Rogue! :)
Make sure to check out Chris and Sheila BEAUTIFUL winter wedding post!
Raleigh + Sid - Campbell's Orchard, Prince Edward County, ON
Another one off the "Photography Bucket List"!
Raleigh and Sid's proposal was SO fun to capture! I was definitely shaking, nervous that I would miss the moment or that Sid would see me and the surprise would be blown. But it all worked out and Raleigh nailed the proposal!
I am so happy that I got to be apart of this exciting next step in their journey together! And I hope that I have the chance to capture more proposals (people, this is a MUST/ SHOULD DO step on your way to marriage!!).
Megan + Bryan - Hall's Harbour, Annapolis Valley, NS
Megan and Bryan's Hall's Harbour engagement was a stunning one to shoot!
Hall's Harbour is one of my favourite places to go when I am back home in Nova Scotia. And being able to photograph not only my first engagement there, but also with someone that I have known for a very big chunk of my life, made this shoot one of my all-time favourites!
Megan and Bryan have such a great love and an awesome sense of humour which made photographing them all the more fun to do! Their goofiness came out, laughs were had, and love was captured.
Vanessa + Aaron - Presqu'ile Provincial Park, Brighton, ON
Vanessa and Aaron were my first engagement shoot and they were awesome! So friendly, so funny, and Vanessa is a photographer as well, so she knew what to do and needed very little guidance.
I also find with the couples that I have gotten to photograph since these two, people who are truly in love don't need posing. Not saying that they don't need a little guidance to give them a boost, but a couple in love will take great photos, guaranteed! And that is how I feel about this shoot. Their love guided them through it, and the camera captured it all!
